Vaccinated international travelers over 18 years of age are required to undergo PCR test no longer than 72 hours before departure in accordance with travel regulation/requirement of Thai government and airline companies. The certificate must be in English. 

Travelers must also undergo PCR tests while in Phuket:

Under “Test and Go” scheme
One test on arrival at the Phuket International Airport

Under “Sandbox program”
Two tests – on arrival at the Phuket International Airport and on day 6 or 7 during the stay

In the end of holiday travelers must check whether PCR test is required by country of their residence and airline in order to departure from Phuket back home.

Children under 6 years travelling with their vaccinated parents will not be required to show a vaccination certificate, however, they need to undergo a Rapid Antigen Test at their own expense in the country of residence within 72 hours before departure and upon arrival in Phuket.

Unvaccinated children between the age of 6 and 18 will be required to undergo a Rapid Antigen Test at their own expense in the country of residence within 72 hours before departure, upon arrival in Phuket, and on the day 6 or 7 under “Sandbox program”.
