PCR Test

Note: Starting May 1, 2022, the RT-PCR testing will no longer be required when arriving in Thailand.

A pre-departure COVID-19 RT-PCR test is now only required for unvaccinated travelers who do not want to do the 5-day mandatory Alternate Quarantine on arrival. The test must be conducted within 72 hours before their international flight from their country of departure and it must be submitted to the Thailand Pass system in lieu of a vaccination certificate.

Unvaccinated travelers will be obligated to undergo an RT-PCR test on Day 4 – 5 (during quarantine) under Quarantine entry scheme.

Note: Children under the age of 18 can be added to a parent or guardians Thailand Pass and will enter Thailand under the same method as the parent, they do not need to be vaccinated and do not have to do a pre-departure COVID-19 test or test on arrival.
